Your workspace
Account and trial questions.
Create your business workspace
Create an account with an emailed code; name the business, describe where clients are served, confirm city/service area and time zone, and choose service types or your own menu. After phone verification, open the first location as an empty business. The iPhone signup follows the same steps.
Save progress and verify your phone
Save valid signup answers and resume within 30 days. Verify a mobile number by text, resend when allowed, and resume across reloads/devices without another business. Wrong/expired codes explain recovery; repeat attempts and sends are limited. A number has one active trial claim. If verification or business creation fails, request the supported help path without starting over. This verification number is not your sign-in method or public booking contact. If you cannot receive the text, support may confirm you another way and permit the trial after an audited review; approval is not automatic.
Understand trial progress
The 7-day trial starts without a card. Track setup and Booked Week; the latter means three appointments within seven days, including at least one real client. In the final two days, time remaining and choosing a plan take priority. iPhone shows progress on Home.
Know which trial emails to expect
Welcome queues the end date and one next step. Stalled setup can trigger one early services nudge and one after two days with no booking after setup. End reminders arrive three days and one day before expiry, and on the last day. Expiry queues retention/restart details; later follow-ups cover read-only access, a week recap and a three-week reminder. Retention warnings carry recovery/export links, scheduled seven days before the deadline and at or after the one-day threshold. Queued messages are not guaranteed delivery at that exact time.
After the trial ends
Within the eligible retention window, sign in to a read-only workspace; people with Billing access see recovery options. Report, expense and time-clock exports remain available. iPhone shows one read-only notice with Billing nearby. Reactivate before the recorded retention deadline; after it, the business data is scheduled for permanent deletion. This does not promise complete erasure of backups or provider-held records; read the Privacy Policy for retention terms.
What happens to the verification number
The local encrypted verification number is cleared when its claim is consumed or terminal/expiry cleanup runs. A keyed fingerprint and bounded abuse evidence remain. Expired rows wait for cleanup; provider-side retention is separate.
Business settings
Find it. Review it. Save it.
Find the business setting
Settings is available on web and iPhone. Find plain-language groups or search for the job. On desktop use Ctrl/Command-K to search, Ctrl/Command-S to save and ? for shortcuts; standard web pages reveal less-used values under Show advanced settings.
Review a change before it becomes the setting
Save a page’s changes together or discard them; leaving unsaved changes asks first. Supported fields explain rejected values, sometimes in a message. Setup opens the exact setting/location and counts completion after save. Native money/client policy changes wait for Apply; restoring location defaults is a separate immediate action. Web-owned native settings explain where to go.
Give access to the right people
Owners and managers can open Settings by default. Granted view-only access shows supported settings without edit controls; changes require the appropriate management permission, including permissions for the owning area. The native view-only screen explains its limits. Web view-only access covers Business Profile, Locations, cancellation/deposit rules and texting numbers.
Keep business and location details current
Maintain business contact/social links, business and per-location hours, and location details/time zone. Add a location, choose the primary, deactivate or restore it, and choose the calendar’s first weekday. Search by the job on iPhone and edit business/contact/hours/location basics there. Editing a location changes only that location.
Reach the Brand workspace
Open Your Brand for the shared text mark/color, illustrative client-facing previews and contrast advice. The first save creates the first published snapshot; later edits may stay in draft. Public display needs your separate approval; website changes appear at its next publication.
Choose the messages you receive
Choose business communication channels by audience. Manage optional personal trial/plan catch-up emails from Account Emails or the link in those messages, while necessary trial, billing and security notices remain. Personal email preferences apply only to your signed-in account.
